Hold The Horde — Progress
10 September 2026, 10:46 Jerusalem. Two rewritten pages are through independent review; final corrections are underway.
The current correction is addressing three owner concerns: deliver a convincing survivorslike with hordes and spectacular builds, make the wiki readable, and explain how play creates discovery, excitement, challenge and attachment.
Work happening now
| Task | Responsible | Completed so far | Next delivery |
|---|---|---|---|
| 44 — Discovery and the changing station | Systems | Replaced the old article at 10:32; full draft read and reviewed | Final clarity corrections by 11:00; range 10:50–11:15 |
| 45 — People, short rescue and home | Design Lead | Replaced the old article at 10:35; full draft read and reviewed | Rescue-choice and pressure-reading corrections by 11:00; range 10:50–11:15 |
| 46 — Combined independent review | Reviewer | Completed at 10:42; PM checked the findings against actual sources | Closed; no second review planned |
| Reading links and definitions | PM | Eight reference pages repaired and saved versions verified | Final pair verification and reading-route update |
| 38 — Full design readiness | PM | Reopened after owner feedback | First-pass wiki target 15 September |
| 39–40 — Earlier detailed samples | Systems / Design Lead | Parked and unaccepted | Reassess after the current correction |
46 tracked outcomes: 41 preparation outcomes closed, 2 current correction assignments, 1 reopened readiness outcome and 2 parked drafts. These are writing and review counts, not a percentage of a finished game.
Both original Claude tasks are available and automatic handoffs are working. The owner does not need to forward routine messages. The reviewer completed the assigned critique; the authors are handling one consolidated response while the PM integrates the pages.
What you can read
The earlier game overview and hordes and builds describe a representative expedition, large crowds, three equipment combinations and the intended payoffs.
The new discovery page follows a familiar room found among new neighbours, a horde crossing, a deduction and a connection that survives death. Home and its people follows a short rescue and a survivor whose memories give the next expedition a new purpose. These two pages are receiving final corrections. The rest of the wiki still needs revision; these drafts do not close the owner's broader concerns.
Estimated deliveries
| Milestone | Target | Plausible range |
|---|---|---|
| Reviewed discovery and home pages, with repaired reading links | Today 11:15 | 11:00–12:00 |
| Whole readable first-pass wiki | 15 September | 13–17 September |
| Detailed campaign design | 17 November | 27 October–15 December |
The next delivery moves forward from 12:15 because both drafts and the combined review arrived early. The whole-wiki and campaign dates are unchanged. Confidence is moderate for the next pair, low for the first-pass wiki and very low for detailed campaign work until scope is re-estimated. Dates assume the three existing roles and PM are available approximately 6–8 active hours per working day. No extra permanent agent is currently needed.
A complete first-pass wiki means a coherent, readable proposed design with open choices clearly identified. Fun, balance and campaign duration still need later validation. Game implementation, simulation, playtesting and assets require their separate authorization.
Latest owner decision
Temporary combat upgrades earned during an expedition reset whenever the astronaut returns home, alive or revived. Physical equipment, components and loot are retained. The owner selected this on 10 September, and it is recorded in the brief and relayed to the team. Exact upgrade effects and pacing remain to be designed. Unanswered choices block only work that depends on their answer; other correction work continues.
