Hold The Horde — Design Coverage
Latest handoff update — 2026-09-09 11:20 Jerusalem, through528. This supersedes worker states in the detailed521 snapshot below; counts and milestone forecasts are unchanged: 36 packages /34 preparation-closed /2 open (35,36). Lead submitted the Campaign Evidence And State Crosswalk in522 (9869a5a5,20,349bytes) and is STOPPED. The original Reviewer is WORKING on its one critique524; receiving and full source reading were verified. Mechanical35 candidate was accepted527 (2e604fc2,44,079bytes) after one critique/response and narrow PM integration; Systems is WORKING on twelve-parent compatibility alignment528; receiving11:19:39 and exact contract read11:19:52 were verified.35 stays open until that alignment is checked. Next targets:35 alignment12:15(11:45–13:00), reviewed13:00(12:15–14:00);36 critique11:45(11:30–12:00), reviewed14:00(13–15:30). All times today; estimates low-medium confidence. First-pass wiki still14September(11–18), low confidence. Automatic handoffs continue; no extra agent or owner forwarding is needed.
PM coverage assessment,9 September2026; current status through521. PM519 classifies the accepted continuity contract plus verified eleven-parent alignment as usable first-pass coverage. This remaining-work map accompanies the Progress forecast; categories are not additional packages.
Across fifteen major areas, all fifteen now have usable first-pass contracts; zero remain partial at this classification depth. This is not complete wiki v1, weighted progress or a percentage of the game.35/36 and remaining interface, scope/handoff and coherence work still matter. “Written” does not mean owner-approved, implemented or validated.
Global04 closed518 after the accepted577236e7 continuity candidate and eleven independently verified parent alignments; PM519 therefore promotes its existing category, without adding a new category. Room32/33 prepare24 module/40 room briefs, ten encounters INCLUDING two setpieces and thirteen major mechanisms.13 is not every interactive object or owner-selected game size. Remaining M3 interfaces still require completion; full scripts and exhaustive states/layouts belong to M4.
The first complete wiki must describe actual behavior, progression and consequences across every major area. It may use clearly labelled provisional defaults and numerical tuning; a major area left only as “TBD” does not qualify. The later detailed-content milestone specifies the individual authored rooms, clues, encounters and scenes.
Remaining first-pass work
SMALL below is the outline's proposed planning sample, not an adopted game size. Counts help expose work and may change after the scope decision.
| Area | Coverage now | Remaining M3 first pass; separate M4 extension | Dependency and work that can proceed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Expedition progression and regions | Usable Regional Discovery Map25 and Station Room And Module Inventory32, closed481 atd4ef2497 | M3: reconcile actual host/entrance/fixture references with33 and global04;24module/40room briefs are prepared. M4: exact layouts, all selected instance/arrangement and exceptional-state variants | CompactR02–03/R36–40 and current-only local relations are proposed constraints, not a guaranteed layout. All40rooms remain physically eligible under the conditional joining contract. |
| Death, shifts and station connections | Usable Death Shift And Rescue Continuity candidate577236e7 and eleven verified compatibility parents; global04 closed518 | M3: consume the accepted continuity/identity/join/rescue/recovery/completion rules in remaining actual-ID interfaces, retaining explicit owner branches. M4: exhaustive permitted arrangements and transition combinations | Lead parents and Systems continuity article STOPPED; no further04 review. Local permanence is selected; protected retreat and final-layout answers remain unselected. Preparation closure is not owner adoption. |
| Oxygen, condition and carrying | Usable first-pass rules | M3: representative edge/loadout cases and a provisional opening quantity sheet. M4: exhaustive capacity/canister/resource variants; balance needs later authorized evidence | No owner answer blocks paper variants. Pressure and balance need later authorized evidence. |
| Connected-build grammar | Usable first-pass rules | M3: representative conversion/storage/readiness and rig/infrastructure interface checks. M4: exhaustive port/combined-event cases | Narrow04 parent alignment integrated432 atb7b70875/42a0be59/2d6de3c0; PM retains STOPPED ownership of all three parents. Exact geometry/quantities may remain provisional; global rules, integration and pending owner choices remain open in04. |
| Equipment and acquisition | Usable twelve-part catalogue and acquisition/growth contract26, prepared434 atf5f6d768 | M3: align accepted32/33 source/control hosts and representative property/rig interfaces; an unplaced optional repair/adapter template is not a usable route. M4: exhaustive source/duplicate/adapter variants and selected detailed geometry | Closed18:57:01 Jerusalem after one focused critique/response and PM maintenance. All twelve paths, four starters/eight sources, three added fixtures and legal rig/property costs are prepared. The domain is not finished; acquisition preference and actual starter/capacity choices remain unselected. |
| Combat and contested work | Usable Combat Rules and combat-state contract27, prepared443 | M3: remaining supported-controller/target/work/oxygen interfaces and representative recovery cases; explicitly bound multiple-actuator content. M4: exhaustive combinations and exact tuning/presentation variants | Shared first-pass state sheet prepared19:34 atf1fe0d9a. Target assistance, multiple ordinary controllers and field healing remain proposals; exact timing and readability are unvalidated. |
| Enemies, encounters and traps | Usable roster27/trap21 and Encounter And Mechanism Placement Inventory33, preparation-closed493 at5c1a9ad6 | M3: integrate prepared ten-encounter/thirteen-mechanism behavior with main cues, actual-ID state references and global04. M4: exhaustive geometry/state/presentation variants and combined cases | Two setpieces are included in the ten. Ordinary service/join interfaces remain real obligations. One critique/response and narrow PM integration complete; no second broad review or validation claim. |
| Two alien languages and discovery | Usable Two Language Discovery Map29, preparation-closed459 atdf0f48f5, alongside existing journal/utterance examples | M3: reconcile the four prepared chains with actual hosts/controls, both-order and representative missing-evidence consequences. M4: every string/glyph occurrence, capture/failure variant and selected clue permutation | Four proposed chains and two-language/two-register classification prepared20:23:52 after one focused critique/response. One local iris plate/input/state variant counted within the existing mechanism. Complete room placements, every clue permutation and comprehension validation remain unfinished. |
| Story, endings and corruption | Usable Story And Ending Map30, preparation-closed466 at03c9cb8e, alongside existing alternatives | M3: align prepared causal/choice map, archive/control hosts and representative evidence/ending transactions; keep consequential choices explicitly provisional. M4: full selected scene, archival, isolation and ending-state variants | Four mystery/personal chains and apparent/deeper/optional-secret layers prepared20:42:22 after one focused critique/response; their unique cast/scene allocation is now prepared31; full scripts and physical/state variants remain. Captive/empty-core, treatment, reversibility and departure remain proposals. Credits/continue-before-departure versus permanently ending the save remains unanswered; it was the fourth question before rescue question485; no phase or canon is selected. |
| Authored cast and short rescue | Usable Cast And Short Rescue Map31, preparation-closed473 at6456406b, alongside first-survivor alternatives | M3: integrate the prepared5people/15primary briefs with33 short crossings, participant/knowledge states and global04 branches. M4: full scripts/dialogue, exact selected geometry and exhaustive scene variants | Closed21:12:44 Jerusalem after one focused critique/response; three unique primary scenes per person. D2 initial demonstrated operation includes Dorn; later commissioned use follows Home28. Current walked rescue routes and participation/commissioning distinctions are prepared; final cast, owner choices and validation remain open. |
| Colony and home projects | Usable Home And Colony Loop28, preparation-closed450 at5bff3436, alongside Coming Home/Home Projects | M3: main fixture/control cues and participant/commissioning interfaces using Home28/Cast31; owner-dependent management choices stay explicit. M4: detailed presentation, physical placements and full scene/state variants | Closed20:01:12 Jerusalem after one focused critique/response. Living/death return, deliberate storage/sharing, refill, five optional projects and loan/reclaim are prepared, with two reused/three new projects and three new fixed ship fixtures. Counts/names/benefits remain proposed; first-survivor selection and gameplay validation remain open. |
| Information, controls and accessibility | Usable older contract and Player Information And Options34, closed509 at61e0be4a | M3: consume prepared main cues/actions, journal/manifest and control/option defaults in actual-ID/global/mechanical reference integration. M4: every scene-specific cue and exhaustive presentation permutations | 41 main states/9 bands,5 journal sections,4 manifest sections,10 options and4 walkthroughs prepared after one critique/response plus PM508 integration. Lead retains STOPPED ownership of34 and the older Player Information parent after its alignment was verified518. No usability claim. |
| Save, identity and content authoring | Usable first-pass contract, preparation-closed417 at438cdf35 | M3: representative actual-ID transition/reference/compatibility matrix and explicit provisional recovery/04 branches. M4: complete transition/commit catalogue, exhaustive compatibility/placement variants and detailed authoring requirements | First-pass identity/continuity requirements are prepared. Save policy, rescue/shift order and full-station behavior remain open; engineering/migrations remain later. |
| Content scope and production feasibility | Usable first-pass scope contract, prepared423 atc1a60388 | M3: reconcile accepted finite counts/reuse/depth and concrete platform/asset suitability assumptions with the handoff. M4: detailed per-instance authoring/production specification; no overlapping labor totals | PM24 closed423;144–247role-hourv1 planning allowance with explicit room/mechanism depth. Scope/band/cuts remain proposed; actual asset licences/specifications need checking. |
| Development and validation handoff | Usable first-pass plan, prepared410 | M3: revision-specific proposed development packet with bounded scope, normal/failure cases, target conditions, staffing, estimates and decision criteria. Later: authorized implementation and validation, not a documentation completion gate | Eleven risks/gates are mapped, including sustained progression. Actual prototypes, code, simulations, assets and playtests require explicit phase authorization. |
M3 finish map
These are remaining-work clusters within existing scope, not additional numbered assignments or claimed staffed streams. The dependencies converge on one final coherence disposition and handoff.
| Remaining first-pass result | Concrete finish and dependency | Work that can proceed |
|---|---|---|
| Accepted finite inventory baseline | Room32:24 modules/40 rooms;33:ten encounters INCLUDING two setpieces/13 major mechanisms | Both first-pass inventories preparation-closed; reference integration remains, not another inventory assignment |
| Prepared global04 rules and parent alignment | Death Shift And Rescue Continuity577236e7 and eleven parent alignments independently verified;04 closed518 at11:07:24 | Use accepted source revisions in remaining interfaces; Lead parents and Systems continuity article STOPPED. Owner branches remain explicit |
| Mechanical/quantity delta35 | Mechanical Interfaces And Opening Quantities35: bounded controller/readiness, Fork/Capacitor and opening quantities, four ordinary-interface cards and paper traces | Submitted515 at11:04:48, a2d3c5e4; one critique520 complete. Systems WORKING on response521 after verified receiving. Response12:00 (11:30–12:30), reviewed preparation13:00 (12:15–14:00); not yet accepted |
| Prepared information/options34 | Player Information And Options34: main cue/action inventory, journal/manifest, equivalent channels and default interactions, closed509 at61e0be4a | One critique/response plus PM508 integration complete; no second review. Actual-ID/global/mechanical consumers still need alignment; full presentation variants remain M4 |
| Campaign evidence/state crosswalk36 and remaining references | Campaign Evidence And State Crosswalk36: deduplicated evidence/room/control/scene references for8 existing chains/15 scenes, two supported orders and representative knowledge/correction cases | Lead WORKING519 after verified receiving. Draft12:30 (12–13:30), reviewed14:00 (13–15:30). Use accepted04/34 and stable endpoints; only truly35-dependent cells remain provisional. Remaining reference integration stays explicit |
| Scope and handoff | Reconciled count/depth/reuse ledger and exact-source proposed development packet with scope, conditions, staffing, estimates and stop criteria | Prepare the packet shell and concrete production assumptions alongside design |
| One coherence disposition | Focused cross-domain review, consolidated fixes and unambiguous owning-rule/source map | Final gate after the branches converge; no repeated broad review of closed parents |
Full scripts, all string/glyph occurrences, exhaustive state/layout permutations and implementation are outside these M3 clusters. They remain visible M4/later work. A missing major mechanical rule cannot be replaced by a UI label or a list of unanswered questions.
Work sequence and forecast

| 9 Sep | 35 response12:00 (11:30–12:30), reviewed13:00 (12:15–14:00);36 draft12:30 (12–13:30), reviewed14:00 (13–15:30) | Systems WORKING521 after one critique520; Reviewer STOPPED. Lead WORKING519; both receiving activities verified. Lead parents/34 STOPPED.34 closed509 and global04 closed518. Low-medium confidence |
| 9–11 Sep; core buffer to14Sep | Owning-parent, mechanical/information/state/reference integration; finite scope/handoff | PM, Systems and restored original Lead/Reviewer; no extra agent prerequisite. Technical/production candidate10Sep only if a concrete independent gap remains |
| M3 target14 Sep; range11–18 Sep | Complete first-pass wiki with integrated interfaces, finite inventories and usable proposed development handoff | Adopted F1.14, low confidence. Scope audit and accepted25–33 justify revision; first-pass scope/continuity/capacity changes can move it |
| Historical forecast | Prior published M3 target22 Sep (18–29); older absent-two-specialists scenario25 Sep (22 Sep–2 Oct) | Preserved planning history, superseded as the current schedule; yesterday’s conditional14Sep F1.14 draft was unpublished |
| Target 10 Nov; likely 20 Oct–1 Dec | Detailed finite authored campaign specification | Low-confidence estimate until an inventory and representative detailed packages are checked. |
Adopted F1.14 forecast — 9 September: M3 first-pass wiki now targets 14 September (11–18 September), low confidence. M2 coherent core remains11 September (10–14); M4 detailed campaign remains10 November (20 October–1 December). The revision follows the remaining-deliverables audit and preparation closeouts25–33, including the actual24-module/40-room and ten-encounter/thirteen-mechanism first passes. It uses current PM, Systems and restored original Lead/Reviewer capacity; additional agents are not prerequisites. It is a scope-based calendar judgment, not a conversion of word counts or elapsed chat minutes into role-hours. A changed joining architecture, expanded first-pass scope, unresolved integration or unavailable capacity can move the estimate. Next ordinary re-estimate9Sep18:00, sooner for consequential changes. Authorized overnight pause was downtime, not worker failure. No elapsed-chat-to-labor or game-duration inference is made.
Shared integration outcome04’s narrow parent-equipment alignment432, legacy Discovery Chain/Expedition slice441–443 and Coming Home/Home Projects compatibility456 are complete. The legacy slice replaces stale route/journal clauses with no new access guarantee;456 aligns home parts/supply, deliberate unloading, historical routes and refill conservation, with PM STOPPED ownership of both home parents. The coherent continuity candidate577236e7 and eleven aligned parents were independently verified; global04 closed518 at11:07:24. Lead parents and Systems continuity article are STOPPED; owner-dependent branches remain unselected. A pending choice blocks only the rules that actually depend on it, not every parallel stream. Global04 independent positions were compared485; the new protected-retreat versus injury/loss preference is the fifth unanswered owner question. Spent supplies and new-route discovery remain explicit costs of the proposed protected branch, not accepted canon.
Estimate accounting
The outline's 111–208 role-hours is a partial original specification allowance, not remaining labor. Its survival and information first-pass packages are now prepared. The later survival22–39 and information35–59 role-hour envelopes describe deeper inventories; they are not measurements of elapsed effort and must not simply be added to the old total. Equipment's first-pass allowance likewise differs from its later detailed catalogue.
Track deliverable and depth separately: first-pass rule set, finite content inventory, and later implementation. Count a shared survivor scene/colony project/clue/region objective once, then estimate only its distinct additional work. Keep package review/response, PM cross-page integration and whole-game coherence review separate without double counting. Production24's dated response assigned24module/40room/12mechanism v1 brief minimums to one20–34author-hour package, beyond objective allocation. Accepted32 now prepares the room/module briefs and honestly counts a thirteenth independent mechanism.33 retains ten encounters/thirteen mechanisms; this is scope reconciliation, not a newly calculated labor increment. Detailed campaign authoring extends these briefs; do not charge both full depths. See Production Scope for the proposed revised144–247role-hour v1 allowance and separate review/response/integration; it is the dated8Sep planning estimate, not logged labor or an automatically current remaining balance; subtract accepted scope before recomputing the remainder.
This map is based on the current owner brief, Whole Game Outline revised through narrow alignment432 at2d6de3c0, the linked owning articles and a source-by-source PM coverage audit. The catalogue was subsequently read at submission396, received one focused review/response397/399 and was preparation-closed400 at revision737b3cfd. Outcome21 trap/encounter and22 handoff first passes were closed410;23 save/content-state closed417 at18:09:56 Jerusalem, final438cdf35. Production24 closed423 after scoped response421/422; Regional Discovery Map25 closed426 after response425 at3acda018. Its objective map initially left the domain partial pending24module/40room briefs, now prepared32. Acquisition26 closed434 at18:57:01, finalf5f6d768, after actual429, one focused critique431, the verified author response and PM’s paragraph-only maintenance433. Late notice436 records pre-maintenancef7ede725 rather than a rollback. PM now classifies equipment/acquisition as a usable first-pass contract, with source-fixture detail and exceptions still required. Combat And Enemy Roster27 closed443 at19:34, finalf1fe0d9a, after one focused critique and the442 response. PM now classifies the existing enemy/encounter/trap category as usable first-pass; the already usable combat category is not counted again. Room32 subsequently supplied24module/40room briefs;33 carries the ten-encounter/thirteen-mechanism successor. Home And Colony Loop28 closed450 at20:01:12, final5bff3436, after one focused critique and449response. Home/colony was thereby classified usable first-pass; exact fixture/control details remain unfinished, and Cast31 now supplies its separate first-pass cast/scene allocation. Two Language Discovery Map29 closed459 at20:23:52, finaldf0f48f5, after one focused critique and458response. Language/discovery was thereby classified usable first-pass. Story And Ending Map30 closed466 at20:42:22, final03c9cb8e, after one focused critique and465response. Story/ending was thereby classified usable first-pass. Cast And Short Rescue Map31 closed473 at21:12:44, final6456406b, after one focused critique and472response; the cast/rescue category thereby advanced to13usable/2partial at that closeout. Five cast briefs/fifteen unique primary scene briefs are prepared; full scripts, state/geometry variants and placements remain. Station Room And Module Inventory32 closed481 at21:44:18 after one review/response479/480, finald4ef2497(61009bytes), with24module/40room first-pass briefs and an honest13major-mechanism ledger. Regional coverage is now usable, bringing the current total to14usable/1partial. Encounter And Mechanism Placement Inventory33 was submitted484, received ONE critique486/response488, and preparation-closed493 on9Sep10:32:09 after narrow PM integration492, final5c1a9ad6(57934bytes). Ten encounters INCLUDING two setpieces and13major mechanism briefs are prepared. Owner resumed all roles490;34 main information/options assigned491 and global04 continuity assigned494, with two original-Reviewer critiques preauthorized495. Information34 subsequently closed509 at10:53:59, final61e0be4a, after one critique/response and PM508 integration. Global04 candidate577236e7 was accepted512 at10:56:53; all eleven parent alignments were subsequently verified and04 closed518 at11:07:24. PM519 explicitly promotes the existing continuity category, bringing current coverage to15usable/0partial without claiming M3 completion. Mechanical35 submitted515, received one critique520 and is in one author response521; Campaign Evidence And State Crosswalk36 assigned519. Current36tracked/34closed/2open(35,36). Systems35 response521 and Lead36 are working after verified receiving; Reviewer and Lead parents/34 are STOPPED.13is not every interactive object, and the scope increment is not owner approval. Global04 is now usable at first-pass contract depth; remaining interfaces and whole-v1 coherence are open, while full scripts/exhaustive variants are M4. The credits/continue-before-departure choice and three earlier questions remain unanswered. New485 asks protected alive/unsent retreat before one shift versus dangerous injury/loss options, bringing the current total to five; no survivor rule was selected in485; new candidate-only ownership was explicitly assigned494. Narrow legacy04 Discovery114e9267/Expedition836ab2ae integration was verified443; broader global04 preparation closed518. Scope estimates are reviewed planning assumptions, not validated labor or adopted content counts. The separately found Rescue Shift Proposal and Station Assembly Example remain unadopted intake407, not completed shared integration. The management checkpoint retains the exact inspected source revisions. No page count, model agreement or desk review establishes fun, balance, usability, performance or campaign duration.
