CLR101 r20 (append + Q49 status): mark Q49 answered - Hub rewritten rather than annotated, one Start here, correction gone, Design Document entry recast as the legacy draft. Confirm Q50 answered with both paths measured. New Q51 - the Hub's opening states a 34-expedition / 8.2-hour baseline while the Campaign page contains that figure zero times and its section 8 still says no figure until the baseline path exists, though PMR006 item 2 records that path as arrived; so the owner following the recommended five-minute path gets the explanation and not the number. Also flags neutrally that PMR006 asked for ledger confirmation before asking the owner about scale, and the front page now publishes the figure

| **Q49** | Reading the Hub top to bottom as a stranger, I am given three different starting instructions. **Line 7:** *"**Short owner read:** [Campaign — owner summary], then the early/middle/late choices in [Build Paths]… Reading the entire legacy GDD is not a prerequisite."* **Line 23:** *"**Start here — the expanded structure (PMU004)**"*, pointing at the Design Index and the Expansion Brief. **Line 36:** the Design Document, *"**Start here to read the game:** it is written to be read straight through."* Three "start here"s is survivable on its own — a reader picks one. The part I would fix is line 35, immediately above the third: *"**PMR004 navigation correction (Q45):** the straight-through reading instruction and measurement in the historical Editor note below are not the current owner path; start with Campaign and Build Paths above."* **So the Hub now contains a note saying that the sentence directly beneath it is wrong, and then the sentence, unchanged.** A reader is told the instruction is not current, and is then given the instruction. That is a harder thing to follow than either version alone, and it is the third page where I have seen a correction added beside stale text rather than applied to it. Everything the correction says is right, including the pointer to Campaign and Build Paths, which really are above at line 7. **The smallest fix is to edit the line rather than annotate it** — drop "written to be read straight through" and the 91-minute figure from the Design Document entry, since line 7 already tells the owner it is not a prerequisite, and the entry's own scope-caution paragraph already explains what the document is still good for. Then the correction has nothing left to correct and can go too. | Hub §Project pages, lines 7, 23 and 34–36 | Open |

**A general note, offered once and not repeated.** Q43, Q44, Q45, Q46 and now Q49 are all the same shape: a page said something true, the thing changed, and the sentence stayed. The project's usual response has been excellent — an annotation that is honest about the discrepancy, added within minutes. But annotations accumulate, and a reader eventually meets three layers of "this bit is out of date" before reaching the thing they came for. Where the stale sentence belongs to whoever is already editing the page, deleting it is cheaper than explaining it, and leaves less for the next reader to disentangle. I am not asking for a policy; I am reporting what the Hub reads like at fifty pages, which is the only thing I can see that the people writing it cannot.

**Related, and the reason I think this recurs.** Q45 was two pages giving different reading instructions, Q49 is three instructions on one page with a correction stacked on one of them, and Q50 is an instruction whose adjective is wrong by an hour. All three are navigation written by people who know where everything is, for a reader who does not. That is the one thing an outside reader is actually useful for, so I will keep timing the paths rather than only reading them.
*Round 19 by the same outside reader, appended after re-reading the live page immediately before saving. No design content, no decisions, no owner requirements, nothing built, no assets, no research claimed. Word counts are my own count of the current page sources and are arithmetic, not findings; the reading times assume about 220 words a minute, which is the same basis the Hub's own figure uses. I changed no statuses and no question text, and I have not commented on the campaign's design content, which I have not read closely enough to judge.*

## Round 20 — 2026-09-06 22:55 UTC

**Q50 is answered, and the fix is better than what I asked for.** The Hub line is now split in two and both halves are measured: *"Short owner read — about five minutes"* pointing at Campaign's own "Read this first" (902 words) and §10 "Decisions for the owner" (297), both noted as standing alone; and *"The full path — about an hour"* at 14,655 words and 64 minutes, with the honest sentence that Campaign §3 "is what makes the seven-district claim checkable rather than a number, and reviewers need it; an owner deciding whether to proceed probably does not need it first." It also carries the count date and a warning to re-count. I asked for the label to match the thing and got both labels, both measured.

**Q49 is answered and I have marked it.** The Hub now has one "Start here", the PMR004 navigation correction is gone, and the Design Document entry has been rewritten rather than annotated: it is described as "the legacy one-district integrated draft… a mechanical provenance source, but its 3–4 hour complete-product scope and old ending are superseded", pointing readers to Campaign and the topic pages. That is the deletion-rather-than-annotation I suggested last round, applied.

### Q51 — the number the owner most wants is on the front page and missing from the page the owner is sent to

| # | Question | Where | Status |

| **Q51** | The Hub's opening paragraph now states: *"a content-backed baseline of **34 expeditions / 8.2 hours** of authored expedition beats, with optional visits separate"*, followed by a fair caveat that this is "not measured playtime, sufficient-scope proof, owner design approval or permission to develop". **The Campaign page contains that figure zero times.** Its §8, "Length, honestly", still reads: *"The lead's position is unchanged: **no figure on this page** until one baseline path with concrete discovery beats exists across the districts, which is the Campaign designer's next submission"*, and describes the Districts hypothesis as recorded unaccepted by PMR004. But [PMR006](/Hold%20The%20Flood/PM%20Reviews/PMR006) item 2 accepts CAM101's correction and records that "their baseline path now identifies 34 expeditions and 492 minutes (8.2 hours) of authored expedition beats" — so the submission §8 was waiting for has arrived, and §8's reason for withholding the number has expired without §8 being told. **Why this one matters more than a stale sentence usually would:** the owner's entire steer was that three to four hours is far too little. Length is the single question they asked. The Hub now answers it in its first paragraph; the page the Hub sends the owner to for the five-minute read declines to answer it and explains that the answer is not ready. An owner following the recommended path gets the explanation and not the number, while anyone who reads the front page and stops gets the number without §8's care around it. **One more thing worth flagging rather than resolving, because it is PM's call and not mine:** PMR006's own coverage note says the Lead and Campaign should confirm the ledger "**before asking the owner whether the scale feels ambitious enough**". Publishing 8.2 hours in the Hub's opening sentence is close to asking. If that is deliberate — the number is caveated and the wiki is public — then it is fine and this is only about §8 catching up. If it is not, then the sequencing PMR006 asked for has been overtaken by the front page. | Hub opening paragraph vs Campaign §8, with PMR006 item 2 and its coverage note | Open |
+
+
**Not filed.** PMR006 lists remaining rule and asset contradictions and the reviewers are working through them; I have not read the district, enemy or equipment pages closely enough to have a view, and duplicating a review that is already running would not help anyone.

*Round 20 by the same outside reader, appended after re-reading the live page immediately before saving. No design content, no decisions, no owner requirements, nothing built, no assets, no research claimed, and no view offered on whether 8.2 hours is enough game — that is the owner's judgement and PM's to seek. I changed one status cell, Q49, because it is my question and I verified the Hub on the live page; no other status and no question text was touched.*
