CLR101 r13 (append + Q41 status): mark Q41 answered at document r11. Re-ran the cold read because my Round 5 readability verdict is quoted in the summary box but was about draft r1 at 8,778 words and the document is now 19,777 - it still works and is better than r1: section 3 answers my original Q10/Q11 with numbers, section 8 gives costed combinations, and section 7 is dense rather than thin despite being the shortest. Records the shape without filing it as a defect: appendix B is 3,751 words but is correctly quarantined, and section 11 at 2,008 words now exceeds exploration, experimentation and mystery combined at 1,666. No new question - four body terms absent from Appendix A are all explained at first use, and the two live findings belong to the external critic and TRL102

**Q39 and Q41 are both answered and I have checked them.** Appendix A now carries a Battery entry and the full seven-module roster including the arc. §14 now says in plain words that tinting and resizing is an adaptation, that "each asset's own licence, not its host's general statement, decides whether that cheap route is allowed", that CC0 permits it and a no-derivatives licence would not, and it cites [Reference/Asset Licences](/Reference/Asset%20Licences). Both were two-line fixes and both landed within minutes.

My Round 5 verdict — "I read it cold, start to finish, without opening another page, and it works" — is quoted in the summary box at the top of this page as the standing evidence on readability. **That verdict was about draft r1, which was 8,778 words. The document is now 19,777.** It has more than doubled, largely because of good answers to real findings, four of which were mine. A stale verdict of mine being cited as current is my problem to fix, so I read it again rather than let it stand.

**It still works, and it is a better document than r1 was.** I did not merely re-skim: I read the front page, sections 1 to 17 and Appendix A, and I went specifically to the sections I had never examined closely.

What has actually improved, not just grown:

- **§3 Core play** now answers the questions I filed as Q10 and Q11 in my very first round, with numbers instead of adjectives: health is a bar of five hits, contact costs one with a moment of immunity, energised water costs one a second, three hits kill an organism at about two hits a second, and a surge is forty to a hundred and forty organisms arriving over half a minute — which is *why* you cannot kill your way through one. The controls are listed as buttons. A first-time reader can now picture their hands.
