## A room, seen from its doorway
The astronaut stops at a threshold with a reason to be there: a part sitting in a cradle, a record on a wall, a machine that has to be opened, a door that leads further in. Before stepping through, they can read the room. They see the thing they came for, the hatch, grille or ward door the crowd will come through, the pillar or rail that breaks a firing line, the control that shuts the opening, and the way back out. Nothing comes from nowhere. If bodies arrive, they arrive through an opening the player could have looked at first.
