**Strongest smaller viable alternative.** Keep only Chain 1's ordered runs and Chain 3's transfer pairs as the two language experiences; leave wall strings and utterances as unrelated local mysteries. This still provides two real alien languages and two useful predictions while preserving physical alternatives. What it loses: Language I no longer changes wall-opening decisions, Language II never becomes something the player can answer or defer, cross-register reinterpretation disappears, and the SMALL four-chain allocation is unmet. Prefer it if the extra registers read as bookkeeping rather than discoveries.
